Mentoring
Paying it forward
Marketing Mentorship
I work with young executives and Founders on their journey to marketing mastery; encouraging, supporting and guiding them as they build and grow their business.
I also mentor MSc Marketing students both individually and with Imperial College London.
A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability in you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you.
- BOB PROCTOR
I was fortunate early in my career to have exceptional managers and leaders who believed in getting to know and understand those they led.
They understood the immense power of developing and nurturing self-belief.
They put in the time to help me discover my talents, my strengths, my talent stack and gently worked with me to uncover my blindspots, biases and blinkers.
They were my guides through the process of self-exploration and discovery, helping me see and understand who I was and who I wanted to be.
And they created the conditions to support my journey of learning and growth.
They gave me an incredible gift, one I am passionate about paying forward.
One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been the opportunity to work with people on their personal and professional development.
Helping explore who they are and who they want to be; helping them map their own journey of learning and growth; seeing where their natural gifts intersect with the needs of the world around them.
In the spotlight
I’d like to introduce you to an amazing young entrepreneur I have the pleasure of working with.
Simmy Dhillon, Founder of Simmer Eats.
SImmy founded his meal subscription business whilst at University 5 years ago, and in December 2022 his business was named one of the Rising Stars: three fast-growing food and drink businesses by The Times newspaper.
He is an incredible young entrepreneur who is the epitome of a committed, accountable mentee.
Check out the food, it’s (in their words) tasty AF.
In the spotlight
I’d like to introduce you to a wonderful group of young professionals who were part of a student mentoring programme with Imperial College London.
2017-18 MSc Marketing Cohort
This group of exceptionally talented young executives undertook an extensive exploration and strategy project that contributed to their MSc certification. The Future of Luxury.
A mullti-method exploration of what luxury means to Millennials and GenZ: belief systems, atttiudes and behaviours. Their final report highlighted areas for brands to consider as they develop their brand to capture these future consumers.
This report was presented at the Luxury Brands Conference in Chantilly in Paris to most of the major Luxury brands.

The mentor-mentee relationship is a precious one.
Having someone place their trust in you to guide, advise, support and encourage them whilst they embark on herculean tasks is both an honour and a responsibility.
I value and respect the trust placed in me by the people who ask me to be their mentor.
It’s why I created and live by these principles of engagement in every mentor-mentee relationship.
They are a promise I make at the start of every partnership.
Could this be you?
If you think you’d benefit from having a marketing mentor, I’d be super happy to chat and help you explore what you need.
